That calling inspired her to create Passport to Shine — a movement and way to help people unpack their gifts, rediscover their confidence, and remember that even the hardest chapters can be the very thing that leads them to their brightest destination.

In 2009, Kandee launched her live makeup seminars, nicknamed "Glaminars", which took her across the country and internationally, teaching makeup and how to launch a successful Bridal Makeup Career. Getting to encourage people and being able to meet all the faces behind the screen and hear their stories...was a gift and a powerful life changing, heart-touching time for not just attendees, but for Kandee as well.

While Kandee began speaking at conferences, trade shows, and corporate events across the globe...it was while she was speaking at a conference in 2017, where Kandee was inspired with the idea to reinvent her Glaminars, but instead of just teaching makeup, she wanted to inspire others. While in her hotel room, she was so inspired, she used the hotel notepad, and began writing down all her ideas, that she's kept safe in her nightstand drawer. Many things delayed the event from coming to life over the next several years...and it wasn't until the last few months, that she felt it was finally the perfect time to bring her idea to life. Because mayne now more than ever, people need to be encouraged to go after their dreams, discover their purpose, teach them how to live with more joy and confidence, and remind them that THE WORLD NEEDS THEIR SPARKLE.
